Art Davis III's Sweet Italian Sausage with Green Tomatoes

That's right, green tomatoes.  Forget red tomatoes, this recipe brings out the full natural flavor like Nature intended.

Ingredients

12 sweet Italian sausages
1 large zucchini, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
2-3 green tomatoes, cut into small wedges
1 finely sliced onion
1 handful of sliced mushrooms
2 tbsp. cooking oil (olive is best)
2 tbsp. red wine vinegar

Sear on high then pan fry the sausages covered on low until they're fully cooked and retain all juices.  Salt and pepper to taste, along with garlic powder.

Saute the tomatoes and all remaining ingredients in the vinegar and oil until tender.

Combine on the plate, and bon appetit.

Serve with your favorite bread or pasta and wine.
